Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Every morning I walk by the law building on my way to and from campus and looking in at the library I've noticed that there is a grand piano by the stairs on the first floor. It seems to me that a grand piano is sort of an unusual fixture for a library. Why is it there? Is it ever used?

- Musician

A: Dear Musician,

I love that piano, and am always tempted to play it when I'm in the law library. That piano is sometimes used for concerts (Jon Schmidt, for instance). Ask at the front desk for a list of scheduled events.

-I play the piano, but never that one.
