Comment to the 100 Hour Board,

In response to the question posed about spooning, let me state my experience.

The word spooning originates from a sexual position. It may have come to mean clothed cuddling, but on the East Coast, amongst my more coarse friends, it was used along side other various grotesque terms to discuss a sexual experience they had with a girl. This is a common debate amongst some of my friends out here and I, with the clear line being draw on people from the Northeast against people from the West, with a lot of people having not heard of it period.

(Trust me, the first time someone in my dorm asked another if he had spooned with a girl, I was really, really shocked.)
