Dear 100 Hour Board,
With regard to the chocolate story and the Combined First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve weekly meeting (Board Question #12658), I can also confirm its veracity. Brother Joseph F. McConkie of the religion department has told that story to our class, and he knows its true because his father, Bruce R. McConkie told him. Also, Elder L. Tom Perry mentioned the story in an address at a Stake Conference last year. It should be noted, of course, that he got in trouble with President Hinckley for talking so frankly about what goes on during that meeting, which is why the First Presidency released a statement telling members not to share their notes about what he said. However, you can find the complete contents of what he said in a recent issue of Sunstone Magazine, available in the Periodicals section of the BYU Library.
