Dear 100 Hour Board,

A comment concerning crosses:
The cross is not necessarily a symbol of death. I have a few Protestant friends who like to think of the cross, empty without Christ on it, as showing that Christ did suffer for us, but he has since been resurrected and lives.

Now, please, I love my Catholic friends, too, and this is in no way against the crucifix.

- cross-referencing

A: Dear cross-referencing (heh heh -- good one),

I'm also fond of the cross a sign of Christ's suffering and resurrection; it seems important to remember both.
