Q:
Dear 100 Hour Board,
Seeing those recipes for the Oatmeal Raisin cookies made me desperately want some of those chocolate oatmeal no-bake cookies. Could you find me a really good recipe for those?

A:
Dear Pavlov,
This is my all time favorite recipe for No-Bake Cookies. I got it from a roommate my junior year. It calls for Peanut Butter in the final step (as you'll see) but I never add it. Pa Grape loves them without.
In medium pan combine:
2 C. Granulated Sugar
½ C. Milk
1 cube butter/margarine
¼ C. cocoa
Bring to a rolling boil and let boil for 2 minutes
Remove from heat and add:
2 ½ C. Oatmeal (I think Rolled oats are the best for this)
½ C. Peanut Butter (Optional)
2 tsp. vanilla
Spoon onto wax paper and allow cooling until solidified.
Enjoy!
Love,
Ma Grape
