Dear 100 Hour Board,
my little mama is worried that a mean internet predator is reading my blog and will come to nothern utah knowing who i am, despite that fact that i never use my name, any friend's names, or the name of my place of employment. does blogspot offer any privacy features that would assuage my mama's worry? thanks!

A: Dear cb,
Well, first of all you could follow Blogger's advice about what to do if your mother discovers your blog: http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=655&topic=47. If none of those suggestions are going to work for you, you might just have to resort to not blogging. You see, blogs aren't exactly built with security measures. What you write on yours is your perrogative. So keep being anonymous and you'll probably be ok.

Actual blog security includes making sure your browser is the most current version (IE and Mozilla Firefox are recommended), change the cookie settings in your brower, and choose a good password so no one can hack your account.
