Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,
I don't know if it's just not being at BYU, but I have no clue what MFHD means and it's been posted a couple of times. What does it mean?
- Easterner

A: Dear Easterner,
MFHD stands for Marriage Family and Human Development. It's one of those majors that is peculiar to BYU, and hence we like to make fun of it. The obvious stereotype is that of a Freshman girl who just came to BYU to get married, and is therefore majoring in MFHD.
