Dear 100 hour board,
Why are clowns (including and most especially mimes) so creepy? I know that there may be a social bias agianst them because of certain horror movies with clowns as the antagonist, but I have never seen any of these films, yet I still find clowns creepy. I have never really had a bad experience with a clown, but my gut feeling tells me that they are somehow evil, and not the least bit funny.

Mostly Respectfully Yours,

A: Dear JJJ,

The face paint distorts the features and makes it so you can't read their faces very well. I guess that's kind of creepy because it's hard to interact with someone when you can't read their face very well--especially since they often have a fake happy face painted on, so they look happy but they could be . . . evil.

Do you think sad clowns are creepy? Come to think of it, I don't. Huh.
