Dear 100 Hour Board,
On many cars the driver's side window has an automatic function - you can press the button and the window will roll down without your holding the button down the whole time. So why doesn't it work the other way, too? Why do you have to hold the button the entire time to roll the window up? It's not that I'm lazy. I assume that the feature is to keep the driver's attention and hands on their driving, so it only makes sense that it should work the other way too, right?
- Runner

A: Dear Runner,
This feature is there to make sure that some precious part of your body isn't in the way of the window when it is going up. Should it go up automatically as well, your arm wouldn't be the same again.
- Aprender
