Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

How many people can fit in one of the Palmyra, New York Temple's sealing rooms?

A: Dear thinking,

The large sealing room of the Palmyra Temple can seat 35 and the sister that answered the phone indicated that they can fit a few more in there standing.

A: Dear thinking-

Just some advice, if you are considering such a room... it is my opinion that anyone that wants to have that many people at their sealing is nuts. The larger a crowd is, the louder and less private the ceremony is. I have attended a couple of sealings that weren't as spiritual as they could have been due to long guest lists. Immediate family members and very closest friends should be enough. Therefore, I recommend the smaller room.

Note: I am quite private about things that are important. It's hard to imagine that anyone else is not, but I suppose it could be possible.
