Dear 100 Hour Board,

This is regarding question 17136 about the two envelopes in wedding announcements. My grandmother told me that the outer envelope was formal with the mailing address and the inner one was directed personally to those invited with titles etc. For example, my parents recently received a wedding invitation that was done correctly. The outer envelope read, "Mr. and Mrs. ********" (and our address), and the inner envelope read "President, (my mom's first name), and family."

Hope that makes sense and helps you!
