Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Apples or Oranges?

- Peaches

A: Dear Peaches,

Aw come on, haven't you heard that you can't compare apples and oranges? No, but seriously, I say apples. First of all, you can make so many more things out of apples, like apple cobbler, apple butter, apple sauce, and apple pie, to name a few. You can also cover an apple in caramel and refer to it as a "health food" (even though you'd really just be lying to yourself). Secondly, apples are generally a lot less messy than oranges. Thirdly, you don't have to peel them.

But don't get me wrong, I also like oranges as well. In my opinion, they do a better job of quenching your thirst on a hot day. I also like the fact that they're completely sealed inside their peel until you open them. I mean, apples could have been spit on or touched by unclean hands, but oranges are safe inside their peel right up until you open them (well, usually).
