Dear 100 Hour Board,
I've been dating a girl for about six months now, and I'm not sure where to go from here. It's a long distance relationship, and we love each other, but there are doubts. Should I take the plunge or flush it down the toilet?

A: Dear Plumber,

You think you know her... riiiiiiiiiight. I've done the long distance thing before and there's a trick to making it work. Get yourselves in the same place at the same time and start dating all over again. The secret to a long distance relationship is not having a long distance relationship. Your doubts concern compatability. Discovering compatability depends on proximity. Being close together will either erase or validate your doubts while long distance perpetuates them. Flush it or make the effort to live near each other to date.

A: Dear Plumber,

I agree. Spend time with each other. I mean, if you do get married, you aren't going to be living on opposite sides of the country.
