Dear 100 Hour Board,

It is purported that Winston Churchill once said "This is the sort of English up with which I will not put." The context of this quote I am unsure of. Also, I have had difficulty finding a reliable source for the exact wording. So what's the deal?

A: Dear Ponderer,
Churchill (a poet-laureate) was once corrected by an editor, who had the audacity to tell him that one of his sentences was incorrect because He'd ended it with a preposition; to which Churchill responded with your aforementioned quote.
