Whenever he thought about it, he felt terrible. And so, at last, he came to a fateful decision. He decided not to think about it. ~John-Roger and Peter McWilliams

Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,
My roommate asked me a few minutes ago if Pluto had been downgraded from its planet status (and we're not talkin' Mickey's dog). I did a little googling, but all I could come up with was that Pluto's status is still being debated. Some websites said yes, some said no, some basically said Pluto is whatever your heart desires it to be. I was wondering if ya'll knew anything about this. Is it just debatable, or is there a specific scientific, um, organization or something that has declared Pluto to be a planet or something less than that?

A: Dear Roomie,
It's a conspiracy. Trummed up by the National Planet Registry to try and get some poor, desperately in love astronomy major to pay 50 bucks to get it named after his girlfriend.
