Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

I have an idea for a new holiday and would appreciate some advice on how to go about getting it recognized. The holiday is the actual day that a person has been married longer than they were single. This event happened to me last week, and I wanted to celebrate the occasion but didn't even know what to call it. Any ideas? It seems in today's society where more marriages fail than survive, it would be a good thing to recognize.

A: Dear Very Married Norm,

I think it's a fabulous idea. We could call it The I've Been Married Longer Than I've Been Single Day. Or Married > Single Day. Or The Marriage Majority Day. Or The Married For Half of My Life Day.

I think you should write into Hallmark cards suggesting the idea. It might catch on.

However, let's not forget our single friends. Everyday can be Single > Marriage Day for singles!

P.S.--There's a talk by the Holland's where they mention their "holiday."
