Dear 100 Hour Board,

Who is Aminadi mentioned in Alma 10:2-3? When/where/how/why did he "[interpret] the writing which was upon the wall of the temple, which was written by the finger of God."

- Buddy

A: Dear Buddy,

No one knows. The only thing that is known at all about this Aminadi is what is mentioned in Alma 10:2-3; he is not mentioned anywhere else in the scriptures. Aminadi appears to be mentioned to establish the credibility of Amulek among the Nephite people, but why he is mentioned here and nowhere else is unknown.
