Is there an exercise to get rid of small love handles?

A: Dear Anonymous,
Ah, the love handles. That part of the body that no one loves. I suggest you do abdominal exercises that isolate your obliques, which are your ab muscles on your sides. Side crunches are a good example. This must be accompanied by a regular aerobic exercise routine, such as running, swimming, or jogging. To burn fat you need aerobic exercise, so there's no easy way around it. But with a good aerobic exercise program and ab exercises (for all your abs, not just the obliques) you'll be love handle-free and probably feel better too.
