Dear 100 Hour Board,

I know that originally, translating the Book of Mormon into different languages was done by missionaries, and somewhere along the line, the church developed a Translation Services Department. Do you know if such an organization still exists, or how translation is done today?

The Church Translation Department does indeed still exist. The August 2002 Eagle's Eye had an article on translations of the Book of Mormon:
