A: Dear Mr. Clinton,

In the most technical sense of the term, there would be fewer people "breaking the law". Other than that, none. It would be a plague on our nation (think repealing prohibition).

Aren't there already benefits to society? Like how gathering in large communities allows us to specialize in different tasks, so that Bob grows the tomatoes and Joe manufactures the computers? Also, let's not forget infrastructure and public education. Society seems to be filling a fine purpose now, as is. I see no need to legalize drugs as an effort to gain benefits from society.
