Dear 100 Hour Board,

I want to take something different this semester. Is the Beginning Clothing Construction class really for beginners? What if I'm kind of uncoordinated and not a very precise person but still enthusiastic?

A: Dear Leaves,
Well then this is your chance to learn! I think that if you want to try something new, no time is better than at college! HFL 185R's course description pages says that you'll be learning the basics of using a sewing machine for making apparel. You will have to provide your own supplies, however. The class also involves a lecture section (001-003 or 011) AND one lab section (004-010). The lab section means that you will have plenty of help, and I'm sure you'll do just fine. Good luck!
