Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Is "bwlch" really a word? I heard it was a short pass between two mountrain ridges.

-In wonder

A: Dear In wonder,
A quick Google search reveals that "bwlch" is indeed a word. It's actually a city in South Wales, so it's probably Bwlch. Leave it to Welsh to take the vowels out of everything.

›Kassidy‹
A: Dear In wonder,

Not only is it a city, it is also a mountain, and therefore has some passes with neighboring mounts, such as Bwlch y Gle and Bwlch y Ddeufaen.
