In regards to Board Question #34870,

Although the LDS church doesn't have a Girl Scouts program, there is a program for 8-11 year old girls called "Activity Days". It is sort of like WEBLOS is for the younger boys before they enter the scouting program. As a new AD leader I've learned a lot about the program recently. We don't do any sort of camping or cookie sales, but we have activities twice a month and we have "goals" that we are trying to pass off. It's sort of like a mini-Young Women in Excellence program. The girls love socializing together and it helps them get ready to enter Young Women program when they turn 12. So, no cookies except for the ones my group is baking this Friday. Sorry!
