Dear 100 Hour Board,
In response to Board Question #37045, here is a very informative article: http://www.discovery.com/area/skinnyon/skinnyon970815/skinnyon.html
We all have bacteria in our large intestines which take the nutrients that didn't get digested in the stomach and small intestines and eat them, with the result being "millions of wee bacterial farts." Either your stomach and small intestines let more nutrients pass through or your large intestines are particularly rich in bacteria. It's all in the article.
