Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

In the Joseph Smith movie at the JSMB, Joseph and Emma wear their wedding rings on their right hands. Was this the custom back then or did the editors just flip the film? Where did the custom for wearing rings on the left hand start? I read the article on Wikipedia on wedding rings but it really didn't help.

A: Dear Still Looking,

Back before I was a writer I wondered the exact same thing. And I found the answer. To the archives!
