Dear 100 Hour Board,

If I use anti-blemish products, my skin has a weird reaction (little itchless bumps) to the perfumes and scents in them. If I don't use anti-blemish products, the reaction to the perfume goes away, but my blemishes flare up (which is a lot more yucky). I feel like I just can't win no matter what I use.

p.s. Acutane is not an option.

A: Dear Gertrude,

You may want to look for products specifically for sensitive skin. There exist sensitive skin anti-blemish products, but you may have to look a little harder for them. Trying different brands may also help. If you get really desperate for more professional advice (since I'm not a doctor), you may want to seek out the help of a dermatologist.

A: Dear in need of help,

Have you done a search for some unscented anti blemish products? I know that some things you can find simply do not have scents. If your skin is reacting to the perfumes then perhaps that would help. If you are unable to find unscented products in your local store then try going to Google and typing in unscented anti-blemish products and it will pull up a couple of products that you could try.
