Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,
How do electric toothbrushes get recharged? I have a Braun electric toothbrush and there are no metal connectors through which electricity might be passed. I figure that is probable a safety hazard around water. So, how do they do it?

A: Dear Brushing,
I too have one of those fancy-shmancy new-fangled electric toothbrushes and have often wondered about the same thing.

I investigated the Waterpik web site and submitted a question to their support team. Within a day or so I got this response:

"We appreciate your support of Waterpik Technologies. The toothbrush charges through magnetic induction. If you need any additional assistance, please contact us again. Thank you for visiting our Website and using our products.

Thank you Darren P.

Well. I think that does it.
