Regarding Board Question #43022, I've experienced nearly the same cravings as you've described, so hopefully these suggestions will work for you. When I thought my body was demanding sugar, what actually stopped my cravings was eating more protein and fats. Getting more foods containing them will also help you to feel full more quickly, so they'll help to avoid over-eating. Look for foods with high fiber content, which will also help you too feel full.
As for some protein- and/or fat-containing foods, try peanut butter and banana (or jelly and/or honey) sandwiches, tacos with meat or beans, yogurt, and banana or apple with a scoop of peanut butter. These foods are healthier than a bag of chocolate, and should help you with those cravings. Good luck to you!
