Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

I know this may seem like a silly question, but I ask it with absolutely sincerity. Is it illegal to flip off a cop? Could I get pulled over for it?

- Curious Driver

A: Dear Curious,

Nope. It's considered free speech. There have been some people arrested or pulled over for it, but the courts have generally awarded damages to such citizens. (See "The Legal History of the Finger.")
