Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,
BYU has often been referred to as the place where you go to get married. Girls come here to earn their "MRS" degree, is another one of the comments made. My question is regarding the freshman girls. How many freshman girls are married before they return for their sophomore year?

A: Dear anonymous,
According to my sister's freshman academy teacher, roughly 1/3 of incoming freshmen girls get married. I mean, it's probably true. There are roughly 6,000 incoming freshmen every year. That would mean that 2,000 would have to get married. That's a lot of girls. But there are 32,000 something people at this school and 49% are guys. But of course, the whole freshmen (oops, to be politically correct, it's first-year students), marriage thing is just a statistic; it varies all the time. Didn't you know that 78% of all statistics are made up???
