Dear 100 Hour Board,

I was hoping that someone could help me find the sheet music or the cassette for the old Articles of Faith Songs by David Shelton and Jeff Ostler. The book was called Sing N' Learn Articles of Faith Songbook.
If you know where I can find a copy or possible have the sheet music I could copy for our Primary I would really appreciate it.

A: Dear Stephanie,

You are not the first person to ask about these, unless this was also you (Uffish, do you really know about the Scripture Scouts?! I still sing "I take, take, take what I want, want, want, for I am king, king, king!" every time I hear about King Noah). Anyway, back to the question at hand! I checked the local library catalogs, and here's what I found: the Provo library is supposed to have a cassette tape of these songs, but it is marked as "missing" right now--and as we know, that pretty much means forget about it.

According to WorldCat, Salt Lake County Library Services supposedly had a cassette tape and booklet, and a CD-Rom version...but they both seem to have mysteriously disappeared from the catalog over night, literally! I called the Salt Lake County Library Services, and they also said they did not have the cassette in their collection. I tried tracking down the publishers, the artists, copies on Ebay...nothing. Unfortunately, there just doesn't seem to be a copy of this anywhere! As compensation, though, there is a CD at the Salt Lake County Library Services called We Believe: Articles of Faith, by Robert C. Bowden. It doesn't appear to have much in common with the other CD other than it has a track for each of the Articles of Faith, but maybe that would serve your purposes well enough. And maybe, just maybe, it is just a newer version of the very same songs you are after. If you want to give it a try, there are several copies available, and you can find where they're located by using the SLCLS catalog.
