Dear 100 Hour Board,
I live in Wyview, and last week we had 24 hr. quiet time. We were instructed to not even vaccuum if we could help it. It seems this rule was held in abeyance for the people who mow our lawns, though. They were even out there weeding and edging and doing other noisy tasks that seem non-essential. Who are these people, and why are they allowed to make noise when the rest of us aren't?

A: Dear Violet,

"These people" would be the BYU grounds crew, and nobody bothered telling them about the unenforceable 24 hour quiet hours.
