Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Yesterday (Tuesday) as I was leaving Wal-Mart, I happened to see the Cosmobile at Allen Patch Ford/Mazda. This caused me to do a double-take, thinking they were trying to sell the thing. I came to my senses a split-second later and saw it was waiting in queue for the service department. What is the matter with it? Doesn't BYU already have a garage to service their own automotive fleet? What kind of vehicle is the Cosmobile, anyway?

A: Hello really old person.
According to my awesome sources at Transportation services, the Cosmobile is not owned by BYU, it is donated from Butterfield Ford. It is a 2001 Ford Cargo Van.

Therefore, it is not on BYU's fleet list the way the other 1,000 or so vehicles are.

-Toasteroven, who's got the hookups for info on the vehicle side of things
