Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,
There's some remodeling going on in the library. My question is: was asbestos used when it was built?? Wouldn't that be dangerous for the people using that area because of all that dust??

A: Dear Tio Tony,

The government has strict guidelines concerning asbestos removal. The whole area has to be sealed off before it is removed. This has not been done in the library, so you can be rest assured that there is no asbestos present in the section of the library that is being remodeled. If there is any asbestos anywhere you will not be exposed to it (unless you go crawling through the ceilings).
