Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Are my chances better to get into the BYU Nursing Program because of the missionary age change? (Usually they only let about half in)

Would people defering because they are going on missions help my chances?
I don't know if you can help, but thanks (hopefully)!

A:

Dear Nurse,

I got in touch with the spokesperson for the nursing program, and here's what she said:

No, admissions will remain the same for this fall group.  We don’t yet know if or how things will change in the future.  Going on a mission or not, it doesn’t matter.  That is NOT factored into whether someone is accepted into the college.  We may take some alternates if we have a lot of students defer for a mission but we don’t know yet for sure.
