Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Do males or females tend to blush more?

-Gooser

A:

Dear Goose,

According to my research (Magic School Bus reference not intended), blushing has nothing to do with gender. It has more to do with the thinness of a person's skin and the amount of pigmentation in their skin. Very pale people with thin skin will blush more (or at least have a visible blush) than those with darker, thicker skin. As a generality, females have thinner skin and are more likely to express emotions that include blushing (although guys can certainly have personality traits, like shyness, that make blushing more likely). Your proof is me, because I can't help but blush at literally everything and it is the worst.
