Dear 100 Hour Board,

What's it like to be you?

-I've only ever been me

Dear Experience I've Never Had,

It's like having a stress induced twitch in my left eye that still hasn't gone away from last week, carrying around a backpack that averages around 30 pounds, generally being on campus by 8 despite not having class until 10, daydreaming about sleep frequently, pretty much constantly being hungry because I never seem to bring quite enough food with me to campus, but generally smiling through all of this (probably with a manic glint in my eyes).

Most of the time, I feel like I'm sprinting along some academic/life path, not exactly sure about everything I'm doing, but having built up enough momentum that I can't stop now, and I just really hope I don't crash into a tree or whatever.

Dear person,

Pretty normal, in my experience.

Dear you,

Being me is like

  • being asked if you even have a heart after saying you haven't cried in six or seven years (the answer is no, I don't),
  • wanting to date more but taking any possible excuse to not actually ask girls out, and
  • loving your major but dreading the things you have to do each day,

among other things.

Dear friend,

I have found for your viewing pleasure an accurate depiction of what my life is like, particularly at work. As you can see, it is all rather silly.

Dear you,

I work in an actual castle.

Since I recently graduated, moved across the country, and started the hunt for an adult job, things can get stressful and confusing. But then I remind myself that in other ways, my life is pretty cool. Like the whole castle thing.
