Dear 100 Hour Board,

I'm working on a project for a {student affairs in high ed} class and part of the project includes producing a chart of how a school we are profiling is funded. BYU was the school I selected and for the life of me I can't find the information. I know tithing funds some of the school's budget and I know it must receive some federal funds because of Title IX. Where is this information found? My classmates found their schools information really easily, but I keep finding finance information for incoming students, rather than for the university.

Grrr. Thanks!

Dear person,

I really wish I could answer this question for you. Unfortunately, as ClanMach told us way back in Board Question #2, BYU doesn't release specific budget figures. This information would probably be really easy to find for public universities, but it's a lot harder for private universities like BYU. I would consider asking your teacher about using approximate figures (like the 30-70 split discussed by ClanMach) or possibly switching schools.
