Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

I'm doing a paper in a class and it's really similar to a paper I did last semester. Would it technically be against the honor code to use parts of that paper in my paper for this semester? Would learning suite catch that?

-Ain't nobody got time for writing papers

A:

Dear Only Cause of All The Other Papers,

Depending on whether your professor has TurnItIn installed on Learning Suite, using a previous paper will be caught. Whether you'll be penalized for that or not depends on your professor. For the professor I TA for, re-using a previous paper would result in a 0 grade. However, I know of other professors who would be perfectly fine with it. If I were you, I'd email the professor and ask them what their specific policy concerning this is.
