Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Where can we find decent quality button-up shirts for a very slim and smaller shouldered man? My husband has had luck with how Old Navy shirts fit, but we're ready for clothes that cater to an older (late 20s+) audience and will hold up over time.

- is it button-up or button-down?

A:

Dear yes,

Hardcore seconding Kirito's advice. H&M has the best slimmer button-downs, and they're super affordable. I've met a good variety of people who shop there so while its demographic is younger, people in their late twenties or early thirties could definitely get away with them. Same with American Eagle, but I'm not sure if they cater towards the younger demographic or not.

Also, Banana Republic is pretty slim and tailored but on the expensive side. But hey, if you like Old Navy, they're like the mature version of that so it could be a good alternative. Good luck! Seriously, though H&M has excellent slimmer button-down shirts.

Dear you,

H&M has great button-ups. They're very slim and quite stylish. I keep finding myself back there to get more.

I'm a slim, narrow-shouldered guy, and I love shirts from Express. They're really high quality, and they have a few different cuts for men's shirts, with all cuts geared toward slim guys. You're bound to find one that fits just about perfectly.
