Oh, there he goes off to his room to write that hit song "Alone in my principles."

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Are there any French-speaking temple sessions at any of the temples in Utah?

I'm French and will be reciving my own endownnments before my mission and I am too poor to fly back to France to do it. I speak English ok but I struggle still. Id love to receive my endownments in my first language so I understand better. My parents will attend with me but they do not speak english at all. They need french too.

Can a french session be made upon request? Or are there headsets available? Which temples could accomodate that?

Dear Ciao,

Information regarding temple schedules can be found on the church website. I looked through the temples in Utah and not a single one has a regularly scheduled session in French. I have seen people with headsets in the Provo temple. My recommendation is that you contact your local temple (if you search for the nearest temple on lds.org you can easily find the phone number) and ask them if they would be able to accommodate you. Hope this helps!

As a current temple worker, I can confirm that any temple will (should) be able to accommodate you! You just let the temple know what language you need, and they'll get you and your parents set up with headsets so you can listen to the endowment in your native language. I've also noticed that in the Provo area many temple workers are returned missionaries who speak a large variety of languages, so it may even be possible to have someone there who can speak French with you.
Good luck!
