Dear 100 Hour Board,

What are some things you hate that everybody else loves, and some things you love that everybody else hates?

-VII, and I-III

Dear NO,

I really don't like Cupbop. I don't actually hate it that much, but I really like Korean barbeque and Cupbop is not that good. Try Koko Lunchbox, a great Korean Restaurant on N Canyon Rd! It's much better, it's just not as hip and flashy.

As for something that I love that everyone hates, the best thing I could think of was pickled herring. I had it on my mission in Poland and I've loved it ever since.

Keep it real,
Sherpa Dave

Dear Roman,

I've never been all that crazy about The Beatles.

And then I really love mathematical proofs. This is an area of math that even most math nerds despise, but I always love seeing the underlying workings of why mathematics is the way it is.

Dear fair enough I guess,

One part of geek culture I've never understood is Pokémon. I didn't really grow up with it and many people have tried to explain it to me, but I just don't get the point. I'm glad others like it, but it just does nothing for me. Usually I keep that to myself, though, lest anyone take away my nerd card.

As for the other thing, I really love cherry tomatoes (tomatoes in general, really) and can eat a whole dry pint of them at once. Some of my friends think tomatoes are disgusting. Oh, I also love lightly seasoned okra, which the rest of my family finds pretty repulsive.

Dear Agreed,

I don't enjoy sitcoms. People talk about them a lot and I don't get the point.

Having spent time in Europe, I love carbonated water. I can't get enough of the stuff, even though everyone around me thinks I'm crazy.

Dear you,

I don't like Snapchat, and I stubbornly refuse to get it even though it means I'm sometimes left out of things. In fact, most of modern social media culture bothers me, because I have little desire to let the whole world know what I'm thinking or feeling all the time, nor to regale them with countless pictures of myself.

Dear European Kings,

Peeps Easter candy is disgusting. Also, Cafe Rio is fine, but it's definitely not my favorite.

Also, I love those cheap-o sugar cookies you buy at the store, that are probably 80% shortening and 70% sugar because they're so unhealthy they bend the laws of nature. You know the ones, that have the thick slab of frosting on top, and they always change the frosting color depending on the nearest holiday? They're such trash, but I adore them.

I'm sure I have all sorts of other unpopular opinions, but I'll leave you with these.
