Dear 100 Hour Board,

Do quadriplegic medical school students get an exemption from having to do a surgery rotation?

Dear Stan,

Most medical schools won't actually accept quadriplegic students, seeing as their require their applicants to have fine motor skills. However, there are a couple incidents of quadriplegic medical students that I found on the internet. Any quadriplegic medical student is going to be an exception, just seeing as they've made it into medical school. But the examples that I looked at seemed like they didn't do surgeries, which makes sense, considering there's not much they can do. One hired assistants to help, and it looks like they did more research and clinical than surgery.

Keep it real,
Sherpa Dave
