Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

I've recently read that eating beets is beneficial for the health and functionality of aging brains. If this is true, what would be the best way to ingest said beets?

Dear May X,

I served my mission in Poland, and thus know quite a bit about the ingestion of beets. My favorite way to eat them was in beet soup (barszcz), or in beet root salads. I've enjoyed them roasted before with potatoes, but not as much as in the other applications.

Keep it real,
Sherpa Dave

Dear April,

Probably through your mouth and throat. I can say that other methods of ingestion are not the best.

Dear April,
This might be too obvious, but in my family we often buy canned beets, heat them up, and eat them as a side dish with the rest of the meal. It's delicious!
