Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Sorry, another college application question. I just requested that college board sends my sat to BYU. Can I submit the application now, even though they haven't received the scores yet? If I sent the scores and they arrive in a week, is that too late?

-VERY STRESSED Abe Frost

A:

Dear you,

Public service announcement: if you need an answer in less than 100 hours, I highly suggest asking someone else besides the 100 Hour Board. Our answers are published 100 hours after the question is asked, even if we answered the question a few hours after you asked it (unless we're still working on them—sorry, all you people out there who have been waiting for 200+ hours).

I just checked the deadlines for BYU Applications, and it looks like that deadline was February 1st. So I'm not certain how useful this answer will be. Unfortunately, when it comes to SAT scores, "All materials must be received or reported by the appropriate application deadline" (source). If it were me and I had already completed the application besides sending those scores in, I would submit it anyways and hope that the scores get there before they notice they're missing.

I hope it all worked/works out for you though!

Abe Frost,
You probably got the email as well, but on Friday I got an email saying that the application deadline has been extended to 5pm MST on February 6th.
Best of luck,
Fellow applicant
