Dear 100 Hour Board,

I'm currently a female med student. When I was last at BYU a few years ago...it was almost impossible to find fellow female pre-meds. Do ya'll know if that is still true or changing?

Dear you,

I asked my three coworkers (we're all studying political science) if they knew any female pre-meds, and two of them said yes. Apparently there's a club called BYU Women in Science club, and there's a number of female pre-meds in it. So it is not impossible, and if you wanted to you could probably reach out to the club and talk to current female pre-meds at BYU!

Dear Thanks!,

I took the Intro to Medicine class just recently and remembered it having a pretty significant amount of female students. Looking back at the names of students of the class on LearningSuite, ~51 had names that I confidently could identify as female out of 250 students. So the odds are better than impossible!

Keep it real,
Sherpa Dave

Dear person,

Two years ago there was an active, well-attended club called the Association of Future Female Physicians at BYU, but now I can't find a lot about them, and consequently I don't really know much about the current situation. I'll let you know if I know any more about it later. Sorry.
