Dear 100 Hour Board,
-My Name Here
Well yeah. Here are a few pictures of my daughter (4) and my son (2).
-The Man with a Mustache
Baby, Certainly has grown a lot since last alumni week (when he was chilling out inside me).
(The sleeper on top of him is the premie size he wore when he was born.)
Sometimes all that growing is exhausting.
He's pretty great.
We got two Board babies this year! One came last May, and isn't human. The other came this past March, and definitely is. I'll leave you to figure out who's who.
Dear My Favorite User,
According to the vet, my cat is now senior! He has had the soul of a grumpy old man since he was a kitten. Anyway, I know what you're really after.
Look, I can't figure out how to attach a second image and I only have so much time on this earth. Just imagine the same cat but less angry about having to listen to the soundtrack to The Producers.
Oh, wait, figured it out!
The cat will soon have a companion; I have a -1 month old baby kicking me as we speak. You'll just miss it!
G.I.R.L will be five in August. She attends pre-school in the afternoons and is straight killing it at everything but potty training. She enjoys riding the bus, making trips to the library, and wearing matching pajamas with B.O.Y.
B.O.Y. is a year-and-a-half old and is an All-American Tub. He likes dressing up in hats and boots and has perfected saying "yeah" in a real casual tone.
P.S. I just remembered that a while back I decided to replicate the design on my Board shirt (because my shirt is all holey and has crossed over into pajama shirt territory), and I made a kids' Board tee for G.I.R.L. while I was at it. So, yeah, feast your eyes on the future of the Board.
Dear Nanny Ogg,
This is obviously the only reason I’m participating in the reunion.
Big Boy is now 17 months old and he’s quickly picking up Chinese for some things and English for others. He was the world’s cutest turkey for Thanksgiving, and then he became a big brother four days after his first birthday! Sometimes I take him for rides on my pony (yes, mine) which he gets super excited about, and he also loves going to the park.
My Tiny Baby is not quite so tiny any more! He had a rough start to life, but you’d never guess that now. Laughing and smiling and trying to hold on to toys are his three favorite activities and we just adore him!
Here I am, happy to be with my kids, over our Christmas visit to family in Washington state. First time my kids could build a real snow man.
All the best,
Waldorf & Sauron & our progeny
Dear your name,
Since my husband and I recently got around to having children after 8 years of marriage, I finally have something to put here. My son is 3 months old now and we're all still adjusting to each other, recovering from pregnancy and birth, and figuring out how to juggle work and parenthood, but at this point it's too late to go back now. Good thing he's cute.
PS: years ago I asked a Board question about whether you could legally give a child no last name. I didn’t change my name at marriage and my husband and I were debating what to do about last names for our hypothetical children. We didn’t end up going with a minimum, but we did give our son a different last name than either of us; he’s last-named after my husband‘s grandfather, who only had daughters who changed their name at marriage. So for anyone out there who might be debating that hypothetical: it’s totally possible to just pick a new last name, if you want even more avenues for creativity.
I'm going to restrain myself from plastering this section with photos of my kids, but I must share one video.
Where was it...
Oh look what's right here, it's a video of my two young boys reacting to the Last Jedi trailer. A video that GOT RETWEETED BY MARK HAMILL!!!!!!!
And he said THEY'RE ADORABLE!
AND HE'S RIGHT.
BECAUSE HE'S LUKE SKYWALKER!!
Baby Pending (bottom of the stack), Baby Trending (middle), Baby Ascending (appropriately on top) and now ... Baby Ending. Because I think this'll round our our family nicely.
Baby Ending is super chill and adorable. For example:
Kids are doing well. Growing up, reading, being weird and artistic in fun ways, accessing the portal to the Chamber of Secrets and taming the monsters therein. The usual.
- Rating Pending (who did not, for example, Baby Never-ending. No thanks.)
Dear Your Name,
Mavengirl (3), Mavenbaby #3 (7 months, so this is his Board debut!), and Mavenboy (5).
Our one-year-old solemnly swears he is up to no good (Harry Potter onesie from Auntie Goose Girl!). And go Cougs!
Not to ruin El's anonymity or anything, but Boy-ahrairah strongly takes after his dad.
-Owlet (and El-ahrairah)
Here are the kids--3 and 0.8 yrs old.
My fig tree is now a toddler: she's about 3 years old, and having babies of her own.
I don't have any human children to show you, but here's my sourdough starter that I love and take care of (except last night when I got home at 1:30 and immediately crashed without feeding it).
This little guy eats through my flour when he's not chilling in the fridge, but he sure makes a good loaf.
Isn't she cute?
-Sunday Night Banter
Dear My ~
Apparently small children don't appreciate paper bags on their heads. But I learned from many superhero movies, but mainly The Incredibles, if you put something around a person's eyes, you won't be able to recognize them. So for the sake of my children's privacy, I chose this completely incognito photo. May I present... Niffler Baby (6), Yellow 2.0 (3), and Dragon Baby (8). (HOW DID MY BOARD BABIES GET SO OLD! [weep])
~ Dragon Lady
Dear Shame Shame,
Here are some photos of Twist, who is now 3 and a half. He loves his tumbling class and Paw Patrol.
And here is Seafarer, who despite being nearly 2 is not a big talker. He loves to throw things (including tantrums) and is a picky eater.
And here are my chlorophyll babies! First, the triplets (summer squash bushes who are clearly not getting enough sun in our fenced patio).
Here are the peas and flowers that are already planted outside.
And finally, the eggplant, herbs, and tomatoes that desperately need to get out from under my grow light and into some pots outside.

Dear My Name Here,
Well, if you made it this far down in the answer queue, then you deserve to see a picture of one of my chickens.
This is Pecker. (My kids named her.) She's kind of a jerk to other chickens, but she loves people.
Sometimes my kids let her (and her "friends") inside to drink from the dog's water. It's her favorite thing ever.
And here's the latest addition to our family.
Oh, my actual children? Here you go.
