Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

What have you been pleasantly surprised by lately?

A:

Dear Tenderfoot,

The World Cup has been sooooo entertaining. There haven't been any 0-0 ties, plenty of upsets, and there have been several really important games decided in the last few minutes like Argentina-Iceland, Portugal-Spain, Brazil-Switzerland, and Germany-Sweden (Sweden no!!! Why did you have to give up that goal in the final minute?!?!). I've never really been a soccer fan, but this World Cup has been absolutely amazing.

Peace,

Tipperary

Dear Scout,

I've been pleasantly surprised that my new roommate has a dog.

I've been un-pleasantly surprised by the fact that she has no internet.

She's an older woman and, due to the high cost of internet, goes to the library whenever she needs to email (or look at reddit, which is apparently one of her favorite sites. I'm both amused and concerned) instead of getting a higher bill.

Thankfully minnow has internet so I just work at his apartment while he's at work. So all the pleasantness wins out!

Dear Atticus,

Just how much fun archery is.

Dear Scout,

When I first started my job I kind of hated it, and I got anxiety on the way to work every day.

But surprisingly it's grown on me and there are plenty of moments that I actually enjoy. I never would've thought I would derive so much enjoyment from apologizing that non-Disney-owned restaurants don't offer Annual Passholder discounts.

Love,

Luciana
