Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Which types of women's garments are best for summer time (i.e. which ones will help me stay coolest)?

Thanks!

A:

Dear Not,

Literally no type of garments is good for the summer. They're all so hot and sweaty, and no matter which type I use, I personally see no difference in heat level. That said, however, people tell me that the Dri-Lux ones are supposedly good at wicking away heat, and I have some friends who swear by the mesh ones for summer. Again, I don't think there's a big difference between them and any other material, but you could try it out!

The new stretch cotton garments are fantastic. They're soft mesh for the inseams but soft cotton everywhere else. And it is still kind of hot and sweaty, but at least it's breathable. Plus they don't have the lace part at the bottom like Dri-Lux does, so they're less visible under certain clothes.
