Dear Sunshine,

I'm don't sing out loud in public pretty much ever out of fear, but I hum to myself all the time, often without realizing it. If I'm listening to the song, I'm probably humming it.

I do sing out loud a lot when I'm alone. Typically it's Coldplay (surprise!) but really if I know the words and I'm alone, I will sing them. Sometimes I like to turn on the radio and test myself on how many songs I know the words to.

However, the one song that I always sing out loud regardless of where I am is the Christmas classic "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey. Can I perfectly hit all her notes and runs? Absolutely not. Do I care? NO! My inhibitions about singing in public no longer hinder me during the holidays, and I have no explanation why.

Cheers,

Dear Singer,

I am that obnoxious person who loves to sing, therefore if I know the words there's a good chance I'm singing along to at least part of any song. Of course I hold back in situations that would be inappropriate, but you probably shouldn't go anywhere in my car if you find that behavior unappealing.

Love,

Luciana

Dear Singer,

I only really sing along with music if it's playing out loud, for example: in a car or in my apartment. However, when I'm in those situations and I know the song, you bet your sweet bippy that I'll sing along. The cheesier the better. I'm  especially fond of doing this with VeggieTales songs.
